        It's 9:30 AM on a Monday and I've finally done it. If all goes well the Blog Mob will be an official UGA organization by Friday. Until that point in time I will be frantically searching for things to write about to provide a decent blog to show everyone at the first meeting. The goal of the Blog Mob is not only to provide a haven for UGA blogsters, but to attempt to prevent the death of excellent and meaningful blogs everywhere. So today I will present a number of links concerning the growing number of dead blogs and how to prevent blog death...

• Millions of Dead Blogs Won't Stop Blogging(2007) - Timesdaily.com makes a note of giant blog graveyard that has been created by a mass influx of blog writers with nothing to blog about.

• Dead Blog Stats(2008) - A lengthy discussion of numbers in an attempt to determine how many dead blogs there are with no real conclusion...but lovely commentators!

• BlogGraveyard(2008) - Good idea but ironically it seems this blog is bound to be part of an active blog graveyard.
